  • The Pembroke Recreation Commission stands firmly against racism in any form. The current situation in the United States has unearthed a heartache our nation has endured for many centuries. We recognize that as a collaborative body within our community, it is part of our responsibility to bring people together. We will continue to provide a safe and inclusive space for all patrons but know it is important to always examine our systems, practices and programming.

We are committed to an open dialogue with our neighbors and want to ensure any inequities, intentional or unintentional, we discover are corrected. Please continue to bring forward any questions, comments, suggestions or concerns about our offerings and/or events. There is still much work to be done to combat racism but we are committed to moving forward in a positive direction.
